Edward Earl Young opened Clean Cut Barber Shop and Shoe Shine in 1993 in the controversial neighborhood of 5th Avenue. This neighborhood has become his home; Clean Cut is a part of its history. He began this as a family business supporting his family and raising four children on its success. Clean Cut Barber Shop is still one of the largest barber shops in Gainesville, FL and still offers all of the original services including an old fashion shoe shine.
